this morning we woke up to the last remaining bits of hurricane irene, thanks for that little gift america, not much rain this far south, but a lot of wind, and a continuation of the general grayness of the last month ...
that grayness, which m calls "tupperware sky" and i call "florescent lighting," has resulted in the loss of all of our tomatoes and a lot of our late yellow raspberry crop, but its not just the lack of sun, this summer we have also had a nuclear winter-esque average summer temperature of 13c/57f.
it's amazing that we've grown anything this summer ... more on what's doing well and what's not shortly.
ps. still missing the little pooch!
