in our ongoing fight against slugs and snails, m and i have been turning to some traditional methods, we eat a lot of eggs, have a lot of leftover shells, and instead of composting them we have been crushing them up, and it works wonders keeping snails away from things (you have you use a lot though).
recently, we read that baking eggshells makes them even sharper, so of course we couldn't pass up the opportunity to add an additional step to a seemingly simple process and we baked a batch, initial findings here at 16b labs indicate that ... not so much, we couldn't tell the difference, so it's back to fresh eggshells for our slimy friends ...
