oven mitt potatoes??

i'm not sure this is an actual variety of potatoes, but we just picked our largest ever, in the distinct shape of an ... oven mitt?  we here at 16b were/are totally stumped, it weighed 1.2kg/just over 2 1/2 lbs, weird.
