return of the slime mold

last year after we failed miserably at our attempt to grow cucumbers out of straw bails we had the arrival of a massive slime mold, which looked exactly like badger vomit, unfortunately it was disposed of before we knew what it was, but in the very same spot i just found this:

this is a close up of about an inch of soil, they are truly amazing, and this time we'll be able to see exactly how it grows, stay tuned!
