tidying up

so although there is not a lot of weeding to do, there is still some tidying up on our list of things to do, i have had to repair the structures for our cages, its important (and really amazing) to note that i don't have to replace the netting, it seems that you get what you pay for in terms of netting, as the professional netting we purchased last year is still in perfect condition!!

here is our purple sprouting broccoli, now in bloom and making broccoli (click on the photo to see in detail), the cage to the right is what this cage looked like a couple of days ago.

we also have a new shipment of manure, 15 wheelbarrows full, up that hill, pleasant ...

and finally our perennially sorry asparagus, we have maybe three plants left, hopefully they will come up soon and show some life ... please!
