the power of weeds

this tale of the awesome power of weeds comes from our front yard, certainly in our allotment this year with all of the rain weeds have been formidable opponents, we will basically spend the next month weeding just to get back to where we were before we left, but none of the bind weed or other crazy things running rampant at 16b compared to the havoc that wildflowers are wreaking on our small stone fence out in the front of our house (pictured on the right), the stone to the right of the weed colony is massive and yet it's been moved out of the way as if it's nothing, now we have to figure out how to get rid of it!
