unfortunately, there has been very little activity in the allotment recently, aside from harvesting 2kg of borlotti beans and m transplanting a sweet little flower, there are a number of reasons for this, first, there is the small little matter of the imminent arrival of our tiny new friend, "any day now" are the words we have been repeating often! also work is a little hectic, and also there is the issue of the weather ...
like for the last 6 weeks the weather has been very very mellow, here is the always melodramatic guardian take on our weather, mildest november for 300 years made me chuckle, but nevertheless, it means no frost so far and none in sight, basically even our squash plants don't know whether to throw in the towel! we don't mind though, if this is the season of everything mellow, that can't be a bad thing.
