yesterday i made this:
it's yet another planter, basically since the shed was built we have had a huge amount of scrap wood lying around and the simple answer is planters! although this one, designed for a narrow spot outside our kitchen, looks more like a crate for a piece of art than a planter, i like this picture because the camera produced this weird perspective that makes it look huge, it's only 10 inches wide ...
the last planter i made is finally in the front yard, painted this weird grey:
that small white frame in the lower left corner is actually a basin (a common british feature in gardens!) that is home to (one of ) maria's herb gardens ...
... that includes hidcote lavender, munstead lavender, lemon thyme, woolly thyme, and an ornamental oregano oooohh sooo fancy.
