broccoli!!

it was just a matter of time to see whether all of the pampering we have given to our broccoli plants would have made any difference, and the verdict is in:

• mulch
• netting
• strong seedlings
• daily watering
• slug collars 

i don't think that we could have done much more, and we have gotten good weather this summer, hopefully this means the start of about three months of non-stop broccoli ... smiley face!
