how much netting do we need?

So I tidied up the sprouting broccoli cage a couple of days ago:

it was covered in weeds, and now the new plot is mostly covered straw (that row of fleece is supposed to be peas, although there was a little evidence that mice have got to them, yikes!), but in redoing the cage, i replaced the netting, and doing so meant that i had to go through all the netting that we have ... but how much netting do we actually have?  too much obviously:

well you can never have too much netting, but we have a lot, about 3 years ago we purchased netting from a proper horticulture supplier and the result was this, a 10 x 15 sheet of netting (and that's just one of 5), that allows us to make cages really easily!

and properly made cages, make for happy brassicas, who knows, but at least it makes life easier for me ...
