wow, so this year's growing season is already here and we have a long list of things that we have to do before we get started, including planting our new stand of raspberries, maria moved what we had from the back of our house to the side of the old plot and they look great:
but then there was the matter of digging up the old stand, this photo is the after picture, the raspberries used to be to the left of the raised bed in the middle, they were planted 8 years ago and were still making fruit last summer!
then at the bottom of the plot there are some new potato trenches, we still have 30 more to plant:
the two varieties that are in the ground now are epicure and rooster, which we have sowed two weeks too early since it is a maincrop, we'll see what that does ...
rooster is allegedly the best potato for making fries, mmmmm, yummy.
