the new bed

we created a new bed for onions, in the past our onions always got white rot, and so the aim here is to grow them in a raise bed to see how they do, below you see we have also taken measures against pesky badgers:

over a week later our onions look healthy, however, we have a whole crop of interlopers, namely rapini: 

 

rapini has effectively grown as a weed since we planted it like 5 years ago, but this year we will be planting it intentionally, from germination to harvest it is less than a month, you can't go wrong for a spinach like green.
